Programs for four-year-olds (Pre-K)

Our Pre-K programs for four-year-old children place a strong emphasis on independent learning and developing a positive self-image or self-esteem. They will also begin to concentrate on improving their communication and their problem-solving skills, as well as cultivating a lifelong passion for learning and discovery.

Independent Learning

Independent learning is a method that allows children to cultivate an inquisitive mind as they get older. This is a simple activity that parents and instructors may encourage children to participate in from a young age because it is so simple. To boost brain stimulation, it is critical for children to acquire independent learning skills during their preschool years. Motivating children to become independent learners has been shown to have a positive impact on their growth and development, as well as their overall well-being.

Self-Esteem

Self-esteem is defined as the worth you place on yourself and the sense of importance you feel in your life. It’s not about being a showoff. Being aware that you are significant and gifted is what it is all about. A strong sense of self-worth provides you the confidence to take risks and make wise decisions in your life.

Communication Skills

This is a period in which their vocabulary is constantly expanding, and the meaning and sentence structure of their language is becoming increasingly complex. The development of cognitive (thinking) ability is reflected in this shift in linguistic structure. When it comes to communicating their wants and needs, solving issues, asking questions, and engaging in play with others, children rely on language.

Problem-Solving Skills

The most effective way for preschoolers to learn is to provide them with frequent opportunities to address problems that are significant to them — problems that emerge in their daily lives.

  • Provide opportunities for hands-on investigations.
  • Encourage youngsters to use materials in novel and different ways in order to develop their creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Encourage children to make suggestions and come up with solutions.
  • Allowing youngsters to come up with their own answers is important.
  • Make use of literature as a springboard.
